Any scale can be used for a model; the most common scales for landscape models are 1:500, 1:1000, 1:1250, and 1:2500. The scales for architectural models include 1:50, 1:75, 1:100, 1:120, 1:150, 1:200, 1:250, 1:300, 1:500, 1:750, and 1:1000.
